疫苗第3劑全面開放 陳時中：完整接種滿5個月可打莫德納

因應國內出現本土病例，指揮中心指揮官陳時中10日宣布，所有接種2劑COVID-19疫苗滿5個月的民眾，都可接種第3劑疫苗，可直接向醫療院所預約接種。
中央流行疫情指揮中心指揮官陳時中在疫情記者會中宣布，考量國際間COVID-19（2019冠狀病毒疾病）疫情持續發展，且國內9日也出現本土病例，為降低社區感染及傳播風險，將擴大接種第3劑疫苗。
陳時中說，凡是已接種2劑COVID-19疫苗且滿5個月的民眾，都可前往追加接種第3劑疫苗，將提供一半劑量的莫德納疫苗，以提升免疫保護力。
指揮中心說明，目前各廠牌COVID-19疫苗接種後的免疫保護力會隨時間下降，加上COVID-19病毒變異株具免疫逃脫的特性，即使完整接種2劑疫苗後，仍可能因免疫保護力不足導致突破性感染，建議符合接種間隔的民眾可接種追加劑，特別是醫護人員、防疫工作人員、第一線高感染風險工作人員、65歲以上長者、長照機構住民與工作者及容易感染與疾病嚴重風險者。
陳時中指出，民眾除可透過各地方政府衛生局合約醫療院所預約接種，亦可多利用衛生福利部所屬醫院、國軍退除役官兵輔導委員會所屬醫院、及國防部所屬醫院於週一至週五增設的夜間門診。
指揮中心提醒民眾前往接種時，應備妥「COVID-19疫苗接種紀錄卡」及健保卡，並於接種前評估時說明過往疫苗接種史，以利醫生評估。
