運用VR做X光檢查訓練 大林慈濟「3D虛擬實境影像」獲國家專利

嘉義縣大林慈濟醫院運用VR遊戲概念設計出「3D虛擬實境影像」，做為醫師、放射師及實習生正式為病人做X光檢查前的練習，獲得國家專利！影像醫學科主任林志文說，戴上VR裝置就如同在真實的檢查環境中反覆練習，在不造成病人輻射危害中，培養出優秀的放射師。
實習放射師進到職場後，常因所學與臨床服務有落差，因擺位經驗不足，病人無法理解意思，會反覆重新擺位，不但造成病人不舒服，浪費時間且增加病人輻射劑量。
影像醫學科組長何嘉祥表示，針對實習生學習中的困擾，院內資深放射師發想，利用現在時下年輕人最熟悉的虛擬實境裝置來設計練習設備，經多次研擬規劃，以徒手畫出攝影室的立體空間、床、X光管球、X光儀器、病人等，再結合到「3D虛擬實境影像」中，最後完成「3D虛擬實境影像」，並且以「應用虛擬實境模擬X光攝影室之系統」獲得專利。
何嘉祥指出，實習放射師頭戴上VR裝置，手持操作器，彷彿身歷檢查空間的實境。不管檢查那個部位、角度，都能自由選取和反覆練習，在不斷嘗試調整照射病人患部中，達成最佳X光片的照射角度。
林志文說，現在學生成長歷程都有電腦、遊戲科技陪伴成長，而在「3D虛擬實境影像」中學習X光檢查操作，就像玩電腦遊戲，學生接受度很高，自然有好的學習，且任何時間都可練習，並能與老師交流與獲得改善的回饋，更重要的是不會造成病人輻射危害，成為放射師在真正執行檢查前非常好的練習裝置，期待培養更多優秀的放射師。
