LCIF國際基金會暨台南第一獅子會長期實踐企業社會責任，獅友們藉由台劇《火神的眼淚》了解消防隊員驚險出打火任務、救護與救援的故事，並親自蒞臨體驗消防人員救災時需背負約30公斤的裝備的辛勞，即發揮善心捐贈救災專用口罩給予臺南市政府消防局第六救災救護大隊所屬分隊的救災前線人員使用；讓打火弟兄於殘火處理或雜草火警時可以減輕體能負荷，增加救災效率及減少濃煙及病毒的侵害。
此次LCIF國際基金會暨台南第一獅子會聯合捐贈的消防人員救災專用口罩，係具有三層過濾層，提供高過濾性，可過濾粉塵、病毒及細菌避免呼吸道傷害，據資料顯示，對於0.1到1.0微米之間的微粒，其最佳微粒保護平均達到96％的微粒效率；病毒過濾效率（VFE）達96.8％和細菌過濾效率（BFE）達97.9％。
臺南市政府消防局局長李明峯表示，在火災現場，濃煙與粉塵都是消防人員呼吸道的殺手之一，該口罩同時具有透氣、阻燃及抗汙防水等特性，在經清洗後可重複使用，可提供人員在火災現場執行殘火處理、休息時使用，以提升消防員在火場救災時之安全性，減少因濃煙及病毒的侵害。此舉之善行足為社會公益之典範，面對需求消防局仍以開放態度歡迎各界提供，一同建立安全之消防救災環境。
