醫療平權 ！潘孟安縣長：逐步落實 屏東義大醫院今動土

義大醫療財團法人屏東義大醫院於今日14日上午於屏東縣原麟洛公園舉行動土典禮，由義大醫療決策委員會主委杜元坤及縣長潘孟安共同主持。
義大第一階段總投資金額約92.8億元，為包含急性醫療之醫院、住宿型長照機構及產後護理之家、員工宿舍等綜合性醫療園區，預計2025年開始營運。第二階段將視開發期程整體市場狀況及投資環境再提出後續醫療照護興建計畫。
潘孟安說，屏東醫療資源長期不足，22間醫院均為地區與區域醫院，沒有醫學中心設置，屏東鄉親常要遠赴外地就醫，尤其急重症、婦產醫療就常跨區域看診，非常不便；希望醫療政策就近在地照顧，偏鄉醫療資源平衡。
