新虎尾壘球場帶動運動風氣  志豪鍋爐盃慢速壘球錦標賽熱鬧登場

「新虎尾壘球場」甫於去年底完工，今年正式啟用，惟遇新冠肺炎疫情。志豪鍋爐盃慢速壘球錦標賽開打，象徵壘球場的正式啟用，縣長張麗善、志豪鍋爐張松竹董事長、虎尾鎮丁學忠鎮長、慢速壘球委員會朱健嘉主委、張江龍副主委、鍾明同副主委、吳鎮達總幹事以及來自各地的慢壘好手約500人，於球場上大展身手，運動又休閒。

縣長張麗善表示，第六屆志豪鍋爐盃慢速壘球錦標賽開賽，在張松竹董事長的大力支持下，讓各地的慢壘好手們有機會可以齊聚競技、以球會友，共享揮棒與跑壘的樂趣。而此次賽會的參賽隊伍來自中、彰、雲、嘉、南五縣市，共有18支球隊一起參與盛會，將於進行預賽後，在下週日進行複賽、決賽，相信各球隊都是有備而來，賽事定是精彩可期。

張麗善也表達感謝張董事長的慷慨解囊，相信透過本次活動的舉辦，也會讓更多人知道在地企業、國際化技術的志豪工業。期許本次活動參賽的隊伍都能再創佳績，大會圓滿成功。

張麗善並指出，我們雲林縣內大大小小的壘球隊約有50餘隊，可見得壘球在縣內是非常普及的運動。「新虎尾壘球場」，是在縣府團隊的努力下，爭取到了體育署的補助經費再加上縣府的自籌款，總經費將近2000萬，於108年5月開工，去年底完工，經過一段植草養護期，今年正式啟用。

球場周邊為高鐵雲林站，南來北往，交通非常便利。虎尾位於雲林的中心，從這往南為虎尾市區可參訪毛巾工廠與布袋戲館、虎尾糖廠等，往北行走145縣為西螺鎮可前往延平老街、西螺廣福宮、福興宮、西螺大橋等，往西行走為土庫鎮，往東行走縣道145乙線經虎尾交流道可以到斗六，歡迎各位在比賽之餘可以到我們雲林四處走走逛逛。
