為便於無障朋友體驗鐵路各項設施及運具服務，臺鐵局與花蓮縣政府合作舉辦「花蓮無障礙旅遊首發團」活動，今(25)日首發團由臺北站搭乘7:40的408次自強號列車，團員有銀髮族、輪椅及行動遲緩等朋友，透過臺鐵的服務從台北至花蓮，一路接續花蓮兩天一夜無障礙遊程。

臺鐵局局長杜微今天早上7：00親至台北車站歡迎首發團團員，並致贈小禮物，局長表示透過這次的花蓮無障礙首發團旅遊，可以讓團員體驗臺鐵的服務熱忱，享受友善、有愛，舒適又便利的乘車服務。未來臺鐵將持續精進無障旅遊措施，發揮服務熱忱，提供旅客更好的旅遊經驗。
