今(30)日11時50分許，炯德營造股份有限公司於高楠公路3巷1號承造東南水泥廠拆除工程，拆除作業之破碎機翁姓司機被鄰近準備拆除之噴霧塔因倒塌壓住被困駕駛室內，人員已救出送榮民總醫院急救，惟仍不治。
勞工局勞動檢查處接獲消息，周登春局長即隨林欽榮副市長趕往現場，初步檢查發現，拆除作業時未控制拆除物之穩定性，導致破碎機被倒塌構造物撞擊，研判可能是致災原因，已通知施工廠商拆除作業停工，後續將依職安法令裁罰3~30萬，並追究相關刑責。
高市勞工局表示，為保障廣大勞工朋友作業安全，勞檢處特別呼籲對於雇主於拆除構造物時，拆除進行中，應隨時注意控制拆除構造物之穩定性及拆除順序。勞檢處將持續加強勞動監督檢查，嚴格要求施工業者設置安全設施，防止類似職業災害之發生，企業或勞工朋友若需安全衛生及防災協助。
