民雄大士爺廟入火安座 賴清德祈求疫情早日遠離

嘉義縣民雄大士爺廟經歷多次地震、屋頂漏水及木質結構損壞，文化部補助2500萬進行修復，工程7月完工，今（30）日舉辦入火安座大典，由副總統賴清德擔任主祭官，縣長翁章梁擔任陪祭官，各界代表虔誠上香祈求疫情早日遠離，鄉親平安健康。
安座大典由賴清德、翁章梁、大士爺廟董事長周漳炎、立委陳明文、民雄鄉長何嘉恒、縣議員林秀琴、黃芳蘭、林淑完、林于玲、陳文忠、友宮廟代表及各界人士循古禮舉行團拜，行三跪九叩首禮、上香禮、獻聖茶、獻果、獻素五牲、獻壽桃、獻爵，燒疏文，儀式肅穆隆重。
依據「民雄鄉志」記載，大士爺廟創建於清朝乾隆9年（西元1744年），期間經歷1906年丙午大地震導致廟身毀損，直到民國26年才重建完成，74年獲內政部列為國家三級古蹟，85年又經歷921大地震及民雄大地震連番肆虐，廟身主體結構嚴重受損，耗費9年，94年重新修復，為解決長年來地底潮氣跟白蟻侵蝕問題，109年又斥資逾2500萬修建，今年完成修復，煥然一新。
賴清德祈求大士爺廟保佑台灣風調雨順，順利渡過疫情，全國人民健康平安，感謝周董事長勇敢承擔，在翁縣長爭取及立委陳明文、蔡易餘合作下，通過文化部補助修復，他要向廟方團隊致上最高敬意。
翁章梁感謝大士爺坐鎮守護在地，保庇鄉親平安健康，也保庇嘉義這塊土地順利發展。翁章梁表示，大士爺廟為嘉義重要文化象徵及宗教信仰中心，未來航太園區、鐵路高架化等建設，一定會讓民雄成為嘉義重要的經濟發展中心。
