她透露在飯店內被林男拉著頭髮拖行、嘴巴都是血，「覺得自己快死了」，也不敢告訴家人。高嘉瑜說，整個過程不想再去想，當下施暴原因有點匪夷所思，就是前男友傳小孩照片，給她幫買小孩東西 ，但林男卻抓著她的頭髮拖行、暴打，當下她臉、嘴巴都是血，臉也腫起來，從晚上十點多持續到天亮 ，還拿我手機發文章、傳資料，用盡各種方式恐嚇威脅。
「臉腫到不知道我是誰，一直勒我脖子，我覺得我快死了」高嘉瑜落淚指出，他有請飯店拿冰敷袋、買藥等，但是飯店的人沒察覺有什麼異狀，包包內所有東西被他扔在走廊上，當下撿東西時，服務生有過來，他就大聲呵斥「不能幫撿東西」!
高嘉瑜說，過了幾天，周日去驗傷時，還是「不成人形」。醫生還說，沒看過家暴這麼嚴重的，不敢讓家人知道發生這樣的事情，家人也是很擔心。
