辛丑正科琉球迎王平安祭典登場 ～五毒大神陣炒熱迎王氣氛

水仙宮「欽點五毒大神陣」文資授證  炒熱辛丑迎王氣氛。

小琉球水仙宮「欽點五毒大神陣」，在12月3日小琉球迎王祭典前夕經屏東縣政府公告登錄為縣定民俗，上個月27日由縣府文化處長吳明榮代表頒發文化資產保存者證書，廟方特別邀請歷任五毒神子回娘家，並由辛丑正科琉球迎王五毒神子代表向水仙宮眾神拜禮，傳遞這份榮耀、感謝歷任五毒神子傳承延續這項民俗傳統，及琉球鄉親的支持與鼓勵。

台灣各地的五毒大神陣型都不一樣，琉球五毒陣型由刑具爺領軍，後有一位武差爺及五毒大神，代表五方及五行。臉譜採用文臉或武臉，及出陣腳步都由廟方擲筊向神明請示確認，而今年向神明擲筊請示後採用自五毒大神陣源頭府城求得的臉譜（武臉）。

文化處長吳明榮表示，五毒大神陣是琉球鄉重要民俗活動，自1952年成立，主要因應3年一科的小琉球迎王平安祭典，且只有遶境期間才會出陣，至今從未間斷，也是全國第1個登錄無形文化資產的五毒大神陣。

五毒出陣一共7個人，除了刑具爺由青年或成人擔任以外，其餘成員組成大約為國小、國中的兒童及青少年，都是在琉球迎王前幾個月才招募組成，成員們有些是當地居民，有些是歷任五毒神子的後代，承續加入神陣行列，由五毒班長帶領神子利用課餘時間練習陣法，實踐傳承在地民俗文化。

近年因少子化衝擊及家長對陣頭的刻板不良印象，神子召募不易，廟方自戊戌科（2018年）時就持續邀請琉球在地老師，於五毒練習期間騰出時間協助神子溫習課業，另五毒班長亦叮嚀囑咐神子「裝將要有將格、裝人要有人格、裝神要有神明慈悲」，在校及未出陣期間，決不可裝神弄鬼，造成校方及家長困擾。

此外，今年更協請琉球國中老師設計五毒練習制服，提高神子參與練習意願，並於白沙國小向中、高年級學子們推廣在地民俗，讓文化紮根。 

廟方感謝縣府協助無形文化資產的傳承與推廣，讓文資保存工作持續深入在地，讓更多人認識琉球五毒。琉球迎王平安祭典登場，若在遶境期間見到琉球五毒，除了嚴守攝影禁忌，不使用閃光燈、不闖陣，也幫神子們鼓勵加油打氣。
