高市林園分局大寮分駐所一日接獲通報，在高雄市大寮區懷恩路明峯停車場內有竊盜現行犯。大寮所員警蔡昀儒、林江韓立即到場處置，經了解為張姓竊嫌(71年次)，騎乘重機車至明峯停車場竊取車輛電瓶及鐵管，並將竊取之大貨車電瓶及鐵管放在重機車踏板上。
竊嫌欲離開時，被1名大貨車司機發現後大喊「有賊」，於是其他大貨車司機一同前往協助逮捕現行犯，警詢後全案依竊盜罪移送高雄地檢偵辦。
林園分局表示，警方將持續查緝加強打擊竊盜等民生犯罪，宵小勿心存歹念，警方查緝犯罪24小時不打烊，並呼籲警力有限，民力無窮，民眾遇有可疑人士，立即撥打110，警方將立即前往處理。
