大揭密！俄軍侵烏戰術被洞悉 原來敗在「它」手上

RC-135W電子偵察機使用感測器獲取通訊，並定位信號來源，協助描繪地面戰況。消息人士表示，理論上，小組能攔截約幾百公里之外部隊車隊的無線電傳輸。一名英國皇家空軍消息人士補充，他們能仰賴訊號發射器收集更遠處的對話內容。精通俄語的人員會攔截傳播內容，將最新情資傳回在倫敦的分析家。
公共飛航追蹤來源顯示，RC-135W電子偵察機近幾個月在烏克蘭附近密集運行。一架英國皇家空軍的RC-135W電子偵察機11日才飛越波蘭上空。
一名英國皇家空軍消息人士表示，美方也有使用這種偵察機，認為RC-135W電子偵察機在收集情資方面，是「王冠上的珠寶」。這名消息人士說：「RC-135W電子偵察機這類資產，只是情資收集中眾多資產之一。」
英國國防部軍事情資官員小組會負責分析所有RC-135W電子偵察機收集數據，他們夜以繼日查核俄軍作戰計畫。該小組擁有敏感商業衛星數據，也能攔截通訊，並受人工智慧支援，他們全天候都在「危機」模式下運作。
國防情報局是個很少被提及的部門，編制有5000人，其中三分之二是軍方人員，三分之一是文人。專家群包括語言專家、民間科學家、心理學家、地理學家和數據專家。
