《隱形冠軍》金門大橋鋼筋都來自這家　統榮鋼鐵陳德裕：「看不見的最重要」

耗時10年、前後換了3家承包商，金門大橋歷經波折，克服包括東北季風、海上濃霧、強勁海流、花崗岩盤堅硬、缺工等挑戰，總算可以在今年完工，最快10月就能通車，這座全台最大規模的跨海大橋，對當地居民生活品質及觀光都是一大利多，而金門大橋所用的鋼筋，就是來自這家台南老牌鋼筋廠。

統榮鋼鐵是老字號鋼筋廠，成立已經超過半世紀，目前是業界數一數二的專業建材鋼筋加工廠，專營成型鋼筋、耐震鋼筋籠、SA級鋼筋續接器、系統箍等，並引進日系New RC預組工法，是眾多營造廠及建商的一級供應商，從台積電南科設廠、台灣高鐵，到今年即將完工的金門大橋以及簡稱「三接」的觀塘液化天然氣廠，用得都是統榮鋼鐵的鋼筋，在建築完成後，從外表雖然看不到，但卻是讓它屹立不搖的重要關鍵。

南科群聚效應帶動周邊工業區發展，南縣府時期編定開發「永康科技工業區」，統榮鋼鐵因仁德廠腹地有限，在永科工購買7,500坪土地，2010年設廠完成，是首批進駐廠商，在當時規模也是最大。

統榮鋼鐵董事長陳德裕也是永康科技工業區廠協會首任理事長，對於園區發展脈絡自然是再熟悉不過，一開始南縣府規劃以汽機車零件為主要招商對象，與高雄本洲工業區是全台唯二電鍍專區，後來金融風暴重創美國三大車廠，供應鏈連帶遭殃，就放寬條件讓更多業種進駐，目前已是產值破百億的綜合型工業區。

民國75年起的10多年間，營建業經歷一波起飛期，陳德裕回憶，當時台南縣、市幾乎有近8成的大樓，採用的都是統榮鋼鐵的鋼筋，但97年的金融風暴，也讓鋼鐵業面臨很長時間的低潮，因此在永科工新廠啟用後，統榮就以高技術含量發展二次加工，以提升鋼筋的附加價值，採標準化、客製化雙路線並進，同時區隔市場，並透過多項重大工程的接案，強化公司實力，陳德裕也笑稱，現在的統榮，可說是「鋼筋百貨公司」。

近年營建業雖然有復甦跡象，但因少子化、高齡化等因素影響，工務現場缺工問題越趨嚴重，統榮鋼鐵也提早因應此狀況，導入自動化生產，並結合新材料及新工法，解決缺工問題，2016年就與日本東京鐵鋼（TTK）合作，推展螺紋節鋼筋續接器，並在工廠內預組建築鋼筋籠，強度、品質都大大提高，廠內作業不受天候影響，又能節省現場施工人力及時間，效率、產量倍增，防震效果更佳，目前已有多家建商採用。

陳德裕說，工程進度是否能在工期內完成，是營建商良好評價及獲利關鍵，統榮引進的日系工法逐漸打開知名度，獲得業界肯定，市場滲透率及占有率持續提高，目前永康、仁德廠已經不敷使用，正尋覓1.5萬坪土地增建新廠，第一選擇仍希望以南市為主。
