高雄市愛玉產量全國第一，其中約98%的愛玉子皆來自高雄三個原鄉，為推廣並優化原鄉種植的愛玉子，行政院原住民族委員會與高雄市政府共同推動產業發展，委託工業技術研究院執行「高雄山籟愛玉Kaohsiung Tabakai委託專業服務案」，於輔導過程中建立全台首創的愛玉果膠凝固特性分析TQX檢測，讓部落愛玉子有了輕易好分辨的品質階級制度。

「高雄原民山籟愛玉」就是輔導成功建立的愛玉品牌，將成為原鄉農產結合科學技術的新典範，輔導計畫經歷三年時間，透過串聯一級生產端的環境流程優化與智慧化，搭配二級加工技術建構與強化，最終整合三級行銷應用多元化，期望整合現今市場上愛玉子品質，過程中也輔導部落愛玉農透過友善種植及檢測技術，培育出好品質愛玉子。同時，在桃源區復興里整建的「kaukau山籟愛玉館」，預估12月完工，未來期待與部落合作，推出多元特色商品，並打造觀光體驗空間，讓更多民眾認識山裡的好愛玉。

推廣活動時由高雄市長陳其邁見證，邀請並頒發感謝狀及授權書予合作廠商，感謝企業與合作社對於原鄉的支持與信賴。首波愛玉商品也在記者會中正式曝光，商品種類多樣，結合原鄉農特產品推出的愛玉果凍、愛玉黃梅吸凍飲及愛玉芒果好味組等，另外研發出的愛玉保濕精華露，期望可以替高雄愛玉子另闢多元研發管道及機會。

高雄原鄉愛玉農共同籌組『高雄市原鄉愛玉生產合作社』，作為取得授權的第一個單位。豐喜食品率先採用本地友善種植的愛玉而取得加工授權者，同步開發出愛玉吸凍飲商品，讓愛玉食用更加便利。而通路業者家樂福量販店，將上架販售愛玉合作社生產的「山裡的好愛玉－手作愛玉包」及豐喜食品的愛玉吸凍飲，展現其對部落產業的支持。諾亞國際企業旗下茶飲品牌「茶茶小王子」也開始啟動商品開發，於近期上市。

陳其邁表示，原鄉有得天獨厚的天然環境，使用永續經營與友善土地的種植方法，種出好品質的物產，記者會現場還力推高雄山籟愛玉，優質品質市府掛保證，歡迎市民朋友及現場與會貴賓全力支持，對於原鄉的經濟產業提升，高雄市政府會積極輔導，幫助產業升級。原民會主委阿布斯也強調，高雄原民山籟愛玉品牌逐步帶動三個原鄉各種特色作物與產品多元應用，希望串起企業通路對原鄉物產從社會關懷支持，轉化為對品質的信任，逐步打開多元通路行銷與多樣化產品應用機會，建立高雄原鄉產業成為國內外都認可的永續生產品牌意象。
