嘉義縣衛生局首度輔導建置「新港海瀛銀髮健身俱樂部」，今（23）日縣長翁章梁、鄉長林茂盛、縣議員林秀琴、陳文忠、葉孟龍、秘書黃啟豪、衛生局長趙紋華等共同揭牌，歡慶俱樂部啟用，積極打造銀髮族健康支持性環境及提升運動健康識能，提供地方長輩運動休閒健身好去處。

衛生福利部為照顧50歲以上健康、亞健康及衰弱長者，109年起推動「銀髮健身俱樂部試辦計畫」，對提高長者社會參與及認知促進成效良好，有助提升長者身體活動力，延緩失能失智。

全世界都面臨人口老化的現象，研究顯示，規律且有效率運動，可降低各種疾病及死亡率，嘉義縣第一座銀髮健身俱樂部在中埔鄉裕民社區，由社會局輔導成立，結合運動專業指導員提供個別化運動處方及安全運動指導；今年衛生局再向中央爭取經費，於新港鄉海瀛村活動中心佈建第二處俱樂部，在長者平日居住、聚集活動或接受服務地點，打造可近性健身場所，促進長輩身心健康與社會參與，以健康老化為目標，帶領長輩強身健體。

今日翁章梁親自體驗健身器材，腳踩風扇車一分鐘便感到腿痠，直呼不容易；俱樂部內有專業師資帶領長輩運動，避免重量訓練造成的危險，也才能發揮訓練成效。

海瀛社區理事長郭祐旭指出，感謝縣府在海瀛村設立俱樂部，讓老大人有空間運動，現在大約有30到40位長輩會來使用，自己也來體驗過，感覺很不錯！

指導員盤幼瑩分享，原本長輩都說不想跟著做運動，甚至連從椅子上站起也不願意，後來循序漸進引導，經過兩個月時間，長輩們已經可以自己拿著器材做輕微的重量訓練，進步很多！訓練下來，他們回家後搬東西、走動，都能保持一定身體素質，不至於越來越退化。

翁章梁表示，新港海瀛銀髮健身俱樂部正式成立，未來衛福部國民健康署要在全國成立200多個據點，嘉義縣去年開始就跟衛福部申請，希望建立更多老人健康據點，目前共有2個據點，未來會再新增3個點；另外，除了這些健身器材，也與50處社區、中正、嘉義大學合作，透過專業老師訓練老大人肌力，也培訓20多位精準運動員共同指導運動技巧，50歲後不訓練，肌肉會自然流失，也容易因手腳沒力跌倒，因此嘉義縣全力與社區、大學合作，啟動老序大身體訓練！

衛生局表示，老化過程帶來的衰弱有容易跌倒、肌少症、骨質疏鬆等問題，透過俱樂部專業教練指導，培養規律運動習慣也可預防失智症，年長者要增加肌肉量，維持肌肉健康，一定要運動營養兼顧雙管齊下，才可遠離威脅，目前海瀛銀髮健身俱樂部每週二、六開放使用，歡迎鄰近社區鄉親多多前往利用。
