澎湖中山國小學生與外師難忘的冬至體驗

澎湖縣民間在冬至期間的民俗活動除了一般的搓湯圓之外，還有特有的傳統如：包菜繭、做雞母狗等。中山國小在冬至期間，特別託人製作傳統米粹，加上純天然的火龍果汁作為染料，讓學生體驗傳統過節的氣息，並邀請學校外師Mobeen共同參與，也讓來自美國紐約的外師感染並了解本地節慶，是一次很好的教學與文化交流活動。
今年引進外師27名，外師的加入為縣內學校英語教學開創不同的教學氛圍，外師進入學校除協助英語教學之外，也會希望藉由學校活動的參與，學習中文，以及了解與體驗本國的文化。因此，中山國小在教導處魏妤宸主任的規劃下，特別在冬至期間，讓學生動手搓湯圓，還有包菜繭、做雞母狗，不但為學生仔細解說，增進學生對傳統文化的認識，也邀請學校外師Mobeen共同參與。
外師Mobeen在感恩節時，曾教學生以餅乾、布丁、南瓜泥、奶油等做美國版的南瓜派，對於本地的冬至的美食手作是第一次體驗，他對這個傳統充滿好奇，因他的手巧，所以做出來的成品都頗為精緻，讓學生讚賞不已，他也覺得很好玩、很有成就感。尤其做雞母狗時，全校學生創意大爆發，各種動物都是創作題材。做完之後，Mobeen還與學生一起以學校的傳統爐灶蒸熟，並與學生一起食用，還用中文大讚：「好吃！好吃！」與生活結合的教學與文化交流，讓全校師生與外師都留下難忘的回憶。
