台鐵高雄機廠都計變更案高市府明日將邀公民團體一起討論。圖／翻自 網路
台鐵高雄機廠活化再開發的公共議題，近日受到外界高度關注，高雄市議會也召開相關公聽會，提出諸多建議，高雄市政府重申本案尚未定案，且訂於明日下午三點，邀請關注本議題的公民團體一起參與討論，廣泛搜集各界意見，期待透過民間文史社群丶專家學者以及台鐵局的參與，尋求工業遺址再生與鐵道紋理保存間的最大公約數。
身兼高雄市都市計畫委員會主任委員的林欽榮副市長，已向陳其邁市長詳細報告本案都計變更，歷經8年來在市都委會所做成階段性結論的源由與脈絡，市長做出三點指示，做為後續本案都市計劃應重新公展，其後續作業之方向：
第一、盡最大可能適當保存現有鐵道紋理所呈現的地景意象，
第二、機廠內其貨車工廠等重要建築物以「全棟保存再生利用」為原則；
第三、尊重並保障台鐵局肩負資產開發之政策任務。
高市府重申本案尚未定案，仍屬都市計畫法定審議程序中，尚需第二次公告公開展覽草案，以及報請內政部都委會審議，然為強化公民參與，讓各界意見充分表達，週三下午舉辦本案座談會，除邀請近期發表建言的網路社群、參與審議的都委會委員，以及文史保存領域的學者專家出席，期待凝聚共識、集眾人之力，依照陳市長指示方針，提出兼顧各方需求之都計變更方案。
