市議員蔡育輝：「餓不能餓孩子！」　新營大廟慨捐20萬助國中小弱勢生吃午餐

台南市新營大廟濟安宮今（8）日捐出超過20萬元給南市教育局，善款將作為當地13所國中小，補助332名清寒國中小學生8月暑假午餐費，這項「加菜金」讓這些孩子們的伙食費提高到從60提高到80元，身兼濟安宮主委的市議員蔡育輝說，疫情持續與物價上漲的多重衝擊，讓弱勢更顯得弱勢，但「餓不能餓孩子！」希望拋磚引玉有其他廟宇跟進，讓孩子們能飽餐一頓。

捐贈儀式在新營濟安宮舉行，蔡育輝代表濟安宮將20萬5840元捐給教育局，由副局長吳國珉接下，再轉交給13所國中小校長，新營區長翁振祥也到場見證，這筆經費在8月份可以補貼332名清寒學生每人每餐20元，加上原有的60元補助，餐費提高到80元。

蔡育輝指出，近年來受到新冠疫情影響，原本就是經濟弱勢的家庭更為艱困，他不捨成長中的孩子餓肚子，在議員身分上，積極為全市清寒學生爭取，從今年暑假開始的營養午餐補助額從50元提高為60元外，對於新營區在地學子，也決定比照去年廟方做法，捐助低收中低收學生營養午餐費。

吳國珉表示，台南市政府從2011年起編列經費，保障弱勢學生寒暑假營養午餐不中斷，由全市市立各國中小提供低收、中低收等學生名冊，每周補助5天，每餐50元，今年暑假起則提高為60元。
