屏東縣政府與日本國際交流基金會、公益財團法人日本台灣交流協會合作，於屏東演武場展出「人形NINGYO：日本人形的藝術與美」，16日由縣長潘孟安、公益財團法人日本台灣交流協會高雄事務所所長小野一彥共同主持開展儀式，展覽集結67件精選人形作品，呈現日本悠久歷史所培育出來的人形文化，展期至10月16日止。

自古以來人形在日本即為不可或缺的存在，除了作為儀式使用外，也逐步擴展成藝術的型態。這項展覽展出日本多樣的人形文化，以「節日人形」、「藝術人形」、「平民的人形」、「人形文化的擴展」四個展區，介紹主要的人形種類與文化背景。
祈求孩童成長的「節日人形」，蘊含人們對於生命初始的祈願與美好想像，可說是日本人形的原點。運用各種工藝技術極具特色的觀賞用「藝術人形」，是日本傳統美學意識的縮影；「平民的人形」以黏土、紙、木頭等隨手可得的材料，製作簡潔鮮活的人偶造型，反映出市井樸實與風土習慣；近代化「人形文化的擴展」則讓日本人形面貌更趨多元，不僅襯托人形原有的魅力，也透過製偶師的精良技藝，帶動藝術創作的風氣。
潘孟安縣長表示，台日長年以來的文化藝術交流，累積良好的合作互動，日本人形藝術透過展品呈現逸趣橫生的文化底蘊及細緻的工藝技法，歡迎民眾親歷感受日本人形的特色與巧思。
為讓民眾進一步認識日本手工藝之美，展出期間特邀請日本職人於10月2日下午2點跨海連線教學「彌治郎系小芥子」彩繪體驗講座，報名資訊請洽屏東縣政府文化處FB粉絲專頁。
