客家文學作品翻譯及海外推廣發表會 1/31於台北書展登場

客家文學的紀錄性傳統，成為記錄臺灣歷史與風土的最重要媒介（圖_玉山社提供）。

臺灣的客家族群，約於18世紀初移民來臺，多以耕山、種田為業。不論是移民過程，或立足臺灣的歷史，都極為艱辛，而這些都成為客家作家創作的特殊使命，也是特有的文學養分。為了留下先民移居、拓荒開墾的史蹟以及移民文化背景，各種文體的紀錄性文學，成為臺灣客家文學最特殊的特性。從記錄個人到記錄族群，乃至於記錄國族、記錄風土。客家文學的紀錄性傳統，成為記錄臺灣歷史與風土的重要媒介。

臺灣的客家委員會，主責臺灣客家事務的推廣，對於具有特色的客家文學，也不遺餘力地透過外文翻譯，希望能將臺灣客家文學傳播到世界，讓世界認識臺灣客家文學的獨特性，進而認識臺灣的風土與民情。

2021年，客家委員會選譯了八本具代表性的客家文學作品進行英語、西班牙語、捷克語的翻譯，作者有吳錦發、曾貴海、李喬以及杜潘芳格等，包含詩集、短篇小說與長篇小說。之後希望透過與海外出版社的合作出版，將這八本具代表性的客家文學作品，推廣至國際。

客委會將於1月31日（二）14:15-15:15，於臺北國際書展會場藍沙龍，舉行這八本書的階段性翻譯成果發表會。會中除了以華語、英語雙語介紹作者之外，也將贈閱翻譯作品試讀本，期待讀者一起認識臺灣客籍作家與作品。
