台南12校園拆「中正」、「介壽」 去除威權落實轉型正義

台南市推動轉行正義去除威權象徵，將中正、介壽等字樣的招牌退出校園。
為落實轉型正義，去除威權象徵，台南市從2019年至今已拆除12處中央定義的威權象徵命名，如中正、介壽等字樣的招牌不再出現校園，還給師生中立的教學場域。
教育局表示繼2015年前市長賴清德遷移臺南14座校園威權塑像，將塑像全數退出校園後，臺南市長黃偉哲接棒推動轉型正義，上任時即落實清查校園具威權象徵命名之建物。
台南市推動轉行正義去除威權象徵，將中正、介壽等字樣的招牌退出校園。
教育局指出，校園是培養學生自由、民主與獨立思考的場域，不應有任何政治圖騰或威權偶像崇拜，也希望透過轉型正義的積極作為，還給師生政治中立與專業的教學環境，促進族群和解、和諧和信任。
黃偉哲市長表示，政府要帶頭落實轉型正義，從學校、社區等場所做起，市府近年已完成盤點各級學校、活動中心、公共設施的威權象徵，並逐一拆除不合時宜的標語與名稱，這也有利凸顯在地特色，將場地名稱還給市民。
此外，市府也透過積極作為，落實轉型正義。例如出版不義場址專書，向市民說明臺南曾經發生的人權事件。並在原臺南州會修復後，設置為中西區圖書館暨二二八紀念館，並將門牌改為湯德章大道三號，將轉型正義的理念融入市民生活，把臺灣的記憶還給臺灣人。
