昨（10）日嘉義市長候選人李俊俋南下屏東與屏東縣長候選人周春米舉辦「結伴逗陣走～走訪屏東亮點之旅」，兩人一齊參訪屏東文化建設，分別是屏東總圖、屏東1936文化基地。

周春米說，她和俊俋是多年的好友，長期在黨團一起奮鬥，李俊俋副秘的父親——臺大法律系教授李鴻禧是自己的恩師；她們家也起源於嘉義，這個具有民主歷史的城市。由於文化是城市偉大的象徵，期待透由屏東模式與嘉義經驗相互交流，未來與嘉義市市長候選人李俊俋攜手為大南方地區努力，打造富有人文與希望的城市。
周春米談到屏東總圖表示，總圖原在1984年啟用，經過近40 年的使用，圖書館內部陳舊，使用的人愈來愈少。考量新興閱讀習慣出現，圖書館不能再只是借閱書籍的空間，應是鄉親休閒聚集的場域。屏縣府因此撥用縣款，花兩年的時間把總圖大翻新；總圖除了美之外，還導入了許多智慧的系統，方便民眾借還書；春米也和俊俋一起到兒童閱覽區內，和孩子們一起交流，希望未來所有的圖書館都能尊重、參考兒童表意權。

周春米補充，菸葉場是周春米與屏東縣政府向文化部爭取 3 億 8 千萬元的經費進行調查與修復，進行歷史現場在造，並完整保存。是屏東新一代文化重要據點，屏菸上週舉辦「大武森山市集」，兩日的參觀量突破四萬人，可見城市的文化也能與觀光結合，帶動地方經濟發展。
李俊俋說，這一次不僅是帶著嘉義市市長參選人的身份前來，自己也是屏東的女婿，因此感到格外親切。嘉義市也有煙葉場，歷經波折，使用率仍然低下，甚至現在關閉中，十分可惜；嘉義市圖書館也不像屏東總圖能讓民眾放鬆休憩，原有的建設應該好好整合服務，未來他也會吸取「屏東經驗」，縣市之間互相學習、互相打氣，讓台灣更好，他也要幫周春米加油，屏東向前，嘉義不一樣，「俋」起向前！
