蔡宛秦也痛批，任何意圖干擾或恐嚇意的選舉暴力應當受到遏止，也絕不容許任何以暴力或其他非法手段來干擾選舉活動發生，也絕不妥協於選舉暴力之下，此次九合一大選，也是是民眾黨第一次在台南參與地方型選舉，懸掛與柯文哲同框合照，也是要凸顯本人是經由柯市長推薦外，更希望讓第三種監督的力量進入台南市。
