該宣傳車也懸掛柯文哲強力推薦東區市議員候選人蔡宛秦的合照。

蔡宛秦也痛批，任何意圖干擾或恐嚇意的選舉暴力應當受到遏止，也絕不容許任何以暴力或其他非法手段來干擾選舉活動發生，也絕不妥協於選舉暴力之下，此次九合一大選，也是是民眾黨第一次在台南參與地方型選舉，懸掛與柯文哲同框合照，也是要凸顯本人是經由柯市長推薦外，更希望讓第三種監督的力量進入台南市。
任何人都有政治的立場與喜好，即便日常掃街拜票就經常遭受反民眾黨、反柯文哲的言論批判，仍是虛心接受不同意見，面對本次掛有與柯文哲合照的宣傳車喇叭遭受破壞的事件，感到非常遺憾，最後也呼籲，選民要理性、和平，利用暴力非法手段來發洩情緒之餘，還要付出遭受法律制裁的代價，恐得不償失。
