不要只會打假球 在野黨立委呼籲速速送審交通安全基本法

國民黨立委游毓蘭、時代力量立委陳椒華、民眾黨立委邱臣遠今日上午舉行記者會，希望加速完成交通安全基本法制定（圖＿截自陳椒華臉書）。
今(29)日，三位在野黨立委陳椒華、游毓蘭及邱臣遠發起「改善交通安全，不要只會打假球，速速送審交通安全基本法記者會」，呼籲改善交通安全不該變成打假球，請民進黨政府盡速排審交通安全基本法。
陳椒華表示，一起起的交通悲劇激起國人對「行人地獄」的憤怒，但因我國錯誤的道路規劃、草率的駕訓考照制度、長年鬆懈的執法及交通教育匱乏等因素，造成交通事故傷亡仍持續發生。2022年我國交通事故死亡人數已突破3000 人，創下近十年新高。有鑑於此，我們亟需一部關於交通安全的母法，讓工程、教育、執法的交通3E精神能加以落實。
陳椒華強調，希望行政案版的交通安全基本法能夠盡早送到立法院，在下個會期進行審議。讓交通安全規劃有所本，該改善的部分能夠依法訂定規範。
游毓蘭表示，台灣被國際媒體認證為行人地獄，包括母親節前夕在台南發生的車禍悲劇，一起又一起不幸的行人交通事故發生，交通部終於有了回應，但行政院卻一直未提出自己的版本送進立法院來審查。目前的交通系統法規沒有系統化，以至於規範上太多但書和例外，造成道路工程、標線、號誌設計不當，讓行人以及駕駛人無所適從。

邱臣遠表示，今天開這個記者會心情非常沉重，台灣應該是美麗的福爾摩沙而不是外媒發出旅遊警戒的危險之島。蔡政府任內的交通事故死亡人數從2017年的2697人一路增加到去年破3000人，成長百分之14。根據交通部統計，去年全國有三分之二縣市淪入交通地獄，16個縣市每10萬人口死亡人數超過10人，其中四個縣市達到25人以上，分別是屏東、台東、嘉義及雲林；直轄市最嚴重的是民進黨執政台南市，每10萬人死亡16人，高雄也有13人，高於全國平均。
邱臣遠呼籲，交通部必須在9月會期開始就必須將草案送到立法院，並且列為優先法案，務必在下會期全力審查通過，所有的在野黨將全力配合。
