南科高科技產業用水要靠它 蘇揆視察台南永康水資源回收中心

行政院長蘇貞昌28日下午在內政部長徐國勇、台南市長黃偉哲等人陪同下，視察即將完工啟用的台南永康水資源回收中心，這是全台首座公共污水處理廠與再生水廠合併設計興建案，也是第一座供應高科技產業製程用水的再生水廠，預計今年6月完工，蘇貞昌表示，水資源循環再利用是愛地球的實際做法，行政院會持續支持相關建設。
中央到2021年核定的公共污水處理廠再生水推動計畫已達11案，其中南市就占了3案，包括永康、安平及仁德三座再生水廠，全期工程完工啟用後，未來每天將可供應至多6.3萬噸再生水，提供產業調配使用。

內政部長徐國勇說，一開始推出再生水相關計畫時，因價格幾乎是一般工業用水的兩倍，乏人問津，但國際間環境永續概念抬頭影響下，企業使用「綠電」、「綠水」後減少相關碳足跡、碳排放，反而在市場上可得到更多青睞，利潤也提高，現在反而都搶著要用再生水。
市長黃偉哲表示，南市府一直在協助調配科技廠、醫院等機構的水資源，讓水源能有最好的運用，創造企業、社會、環境的多贏局面，而再生水廠的嶄新設計，也翻轉民間對於汙水處理廠的嫌惡印象，更貼近於社區。

行政院長蘇貞昌表示，感謝各工程單位對污水下水道建設之辛勞付出，也肯定台南市政府配合政策，推動放流水回收再利用計畫，讓汙水處理及再生工程能穩定產業用水，促進環境永續發展。
蘇貞昌說，推動水資源回收中心建設對地方發展也是一舉多得，後續中央仍會支持再生水系統發展，讓水資源回收中心名符其實地成為都市的小水庫，以利產業有穩定且優質的產業用水源。
