澎湖縣府加強清除海中廢網 漁家改用堅韌網具 共盡心力護海洋

對於縣府每年用心從海中清出大量覆網，許多船家改以縫補堅韌網具因應。（宋國正攝）
年關逼近，從事捕撈土魠、大耳（疏齒）、紅甘、白腹的船隻，隨著季風轉弱紛紛出海捕撈，其中因較大尾土魠魚群通常躲藏在險惡岩礁裡面，造成捕撈漁網經常遭到尖銳岩礁卡住導致撕裂，有些全毀漁網更留在海底，成為破壞海洋生態環境的元兇。
澎湖縣政府近10多年來積極向中央政府爭取經費清除，從海中清出大量的覆網，但每年留在海底網具卻未曾停止，由於漁民在面對政府維護海洋生態資源用心，在購置全新漁網時，皆選擇以較佳品質網線縫補漁，減少漁網撕裂續留海底作祟，顯見縣府清除覆網政策已經深植民心。
昨日從事放網漁友說，雖然政府每年從海底清出大量覆網，來維護海洋生態環境，這種作為漁民皆感受的到，無奈還有很多不自愛的漁民，還是我行我素的將撕裂漁網續留海中，破壞海洋生態環境，所以建議縣府應持續宣導貫徹，讓漁民們感到維護海洋環境的重要性。
