疫情當前加上現代人因為生活忙碌不能常上市場採買食材的，活泰國蝦可以買到的通路也比較少，都只能買一般的冷凍蝦，但是冷凍蝦子口感會大大打折，有漁業觀察員多年經驗的陳彥志先生深知如何保持海鮮的鮮味，利用零下負60度的急凍技術開創了宅配「急凍活蝦」的市場。

捨棄百萬年薪投入泰國蝦市場
屏東是全國最大的泰國蝦產區台灣九成以上泰國蝦都來自屏東，蝦正甜創辦人陳彥志先生原任職漁業署的遠洋漁業觀察員，遠洋漁業觀察員的工作是依據國際漁業管理組織要求而設置，主要是為了監督漁船是否合法作業，同時也觀察及記錄漁撈量，協助監測海域漁業資源變化。每年都要跟著遠洋捕漁船出發前往大西洋，長期的接觸對水產有豐富的經驗和知識，因為遠洋捕魚時期長達數月，捕獲的漁貨都必須要急速冷凍保鮮，剛好岳父家在屏東長治是泰國蝦的養殖戶，讓他看到了創業的契機。
蝦正甜泰國蝦花費百萬元購入和鮪魚出口日本相同的冷凍設備和技術，使用活蝦負60度瞬凍，連水氣都成冰花，超低溫急速活凍鎖住新鮮留住營養，新鮮活力脆彈，吃得到的鮮、脆、甜。
陳彥志先生表示：屏東除九如、里港在長治、萬丹、潮州也有很大的養殖面積，他的蝦池位在長治，長治大武山的水質乾淨，而且使用益生菌和綠藻為基礎，蝦子自然鮮甜，他們的蝦子還送到高雄食衛署進行80多項檢驗測試，讓民眾可以吃的更安心。
屏東是全國最大的泰國蝦產區，好山、好水，好蝦，農曆春節即將來臨，加上疫情緊張，即使不能來屏東吃新鮮泰國蝦現在也可以透過宅配和急凍享用到新鮮美味的泰國蝦。
