屏東縣政府警察局內埔分局泰武分駐所所長與員警日前擔服巡邏勤務時，針對重要節日轄區金融機構加強簽巡，至佳平郵局時見蔡姓婦人在提款機前，緊盯交易明細表及邊看提款機神情緊張，警方見狀以為該民眾是否遭詐騙立即上前了解關心。

經了解後蔡民表示剛剛在郵局提款機提領2萬元，但提款機似乎故障並未吐鈔，且交易明細表字體太小看不清楚因而不知所措。蔡民請求警方協助查看明細表及交易內容。經警方查看交易明細上顯示出鈔口機故障且未有交易金額，但為求慎重協助其撥打郵局客服電話聯繫0800-700-365，進一步查證確認無誤，再通知蔡民女兒從位赤山村的家中前來。警方向蔡民女兒說明渠母親剛剛提款時所發生之狀況並已立即給予協助。蔡民偕女兒均表示非常感謝警方的協助，為民服務之精神實在是令人敬佩。
內埔分局長蘇偉荃提醒民眾如遇相同情形，切勿緊張，請第一時間撥打ATM提款機上顯示的客服電話，與金融機構客服人員即時取得聯繫，便能順利解決問題。
