高雄市政府呼籲，符合施打第三劑的民眾疫苗打好打滿，65-74歲以上長輩第3劑接種，將由區公所發放通知單，14起開始施打，另也鼓勵18歲以上民眾踴躍施打，接種第1、2劑疫苗將贈送200元禮券。

高雄市長陳其邁說，市府持續在旗津、修船廠區，或接觸相關風險人員，以及港區作業人員的篩檢作業，開工前進行普篩，旗津社區篩檢站已篩15792人，同樣零檢出，陸續開工後，期盼相關人員落實個人防護和防疫措施，廠商與所有勞工朋友共同合作配合防疫。

由於之前過年期間人員移動往來非常密集，基層診所都有提供快篩試劑，一般感冒和Omicron病毒很難辨別，快篩仍是最有效的方式，Omicron傳染力非常強。

陳其邁重申，打疫苗當然還是最有效的方式，他鼓勵大家儘快施打追加劑， 18歲以上民眾接種第1劑、2劑，獲贈200元禮券，如是75歲以上的長輩第1、2、3劑，都有500塊的禮券。
