澎湖歡慶元宵節系列活動陸續展開，14日夜晚7時鎖港里紫微宮奉紫微大帝旨意，為鬧元宵系列活動遵循古禮辦理開幕儀式，議長劉陳昭玲、議員陳慧玲、蘇陳綉色、澎管處長許宗民、馬公市長葉竹林及市代表吳志宏等來賓蒞臨現場參與點燈祈福儀式。

紫微宮點燈儀式由紫微宮主委翁啟鏡率領宮內委員們及監、執事、幹部進行，首先向紫微大帝行禮上奏疏文，稟明鬧元宵系列活動皆照大帝意旨準備完成啟用，再由劉陳昭玲帶領眾來賓向紫微大帝暨諸位聖真菩薩們行獻香禮；而後即進入重頭戲－為鬧元宵系列活動點燈儀式，並施放3分鐘煙火以象徵活動璀璨展開。
此次紫微宮鬧元宵系列活動除傳統的「龜王爭霸」外，尚有紫微水墨畫展、猜燈謎及七星炮城等活動；而其中最特殊的「七星炮城」，是紫微宮廟方奉紫微大帝旨意所籌設，意在藉由讓眾人攻炮城來消滅瘟疫（新冠病毒）。
14日晚間也在宮內由顧問謝老師為七星炮城進行開光科儀，並引領眾善信走過「元辰七星陣」，象徵生命元辰生生不息。
鎖港紫微宮點燈儀式，正式宣告今年元宵盛典活動展開。由於以「金龜王」聞名的鎖港北極殿，今年靜悄悄，未辦任何元宵活動，使得今年鎖港元宵觀戰重點位移，紫微宮還準備煙火秀及七星炮城，增加熱鬧氣氛。
