柳營車站轉乘環境優化啟動 未來停等公車免走路

柳營車站轉乘環境優化後，搭公車不須再走500公尺。(南市府提供)
台鐵柳營火車站每日進出旅客約2,000人次，大台南公車有黃幹線、黃3、黃5等路線行進，每日超過100班次，但站前廣場現況公車無法駛入，只能在外圍設站牌，旅客要搭公車還須步行約500公尺；南市府向中央爭取經費，投入站前轉乘環境優化，今天舉行開工典禮，最快明年就能完工。
台南市長黃偉哲指出，台鐵在台南市共有17個火車站，是縱貫台南的運輸主動脈，各火車站均有大台南公車路網銜接，形成完整便捷的公共運輸服務，因此各火車站前的轉乘環境提升相當重要，也期望能打造成為地方出入門戶的亮點。

南市府交通局表示，柳營車站站前轉乘環境改善工程，工程由地方及中央投入經費總計約1,575萬元，優化工程將重新規劃站前廣場空間，新闢公車迴轉道，未來公車就直接開到火車站前，另外也規劃醫院接駁車停靠位，方便就醫民眾轉乘，加上行人空間、風雨走廊、計程車格位、汽車臨停上下客區、自行車停車區，並劃設機車110席停車格位，使站前空間達到最優質配置，環境更加舒適。
交通局長王銘德表示，柳營站前轉乘優化設計理念從稻田中飛舞的蜻蜓翅膀為發想，採用金屬薄屋頂營造漂浮感，同時可讓光線滲入迴廊，展現輕巧的姿態，整體設計簡潔洗練、富現代感，可望打造地方門戶新亮點。
