為提升社區大樓居住品質及落實社區自治管理，市府工務局啟動今(111)年度優良公寓大廈評選活動，至5月31日截止報名，得獎社區將獲市府頒發獎盃與獎勵金，歡迎社區大樓踴躍報名參加。
工務局楊欽富局長表示，現今許多大樓為響應節能減碳已將停車場及公共區域燈管改為LED照明，並裝置感應設備讓電燈無需常時開啟，節省大樓電費支出，另外也設置雨水回收系統將雨水收集至地下室儲水槽，做為植栽澆灌用水充分利用自然資源節省水資源。在地下室設置環保室將垃圾分類，資源回收所得的費用捐於慈善機構，不僅可為環保盡一份心力又可幫助弱勢團體。諸如此類能讓社區逐年更新管理模式及注意維護各項設備之舉，已漸進提升社區整體素質水準。
楊欽富進一步表示，111年度優良公寓大廈評選獎項依照建築物使用執照年度分為雄勇及雄青組評選，雄勇組為 102年(含)前領有使用執照之公寓大廈，雄青組為103年(含)後領有使用執照之公寓大廈；每組前3名由市府依序頒發特優奬、優等奬及優質獎獎盃且各取2名，另再頒贈獎金分別為10,000元、6,000元及2,000元。亦針對社區特殊成就或貢獻，由評審委員選定頒發評審鑑賞獎。
工務局表示，有意參選的社區大樓請將參賽資料郵寄高雄市政府四維行政中心工務局建築管理處收(高雄市苓雅區四維三路二號5樓)，以郵戳為憑或親送至該局辦理收件。另有關活動參賽詳細內容，可至該局建築管理處網站( https://build.kcg.gov.tw/ )活動快報查詢或向該局建管處承辦人員李小姐洽詢（電話:07-3368333轉2424）。
