阿里山特富野古道整修 6/22起封閉至明年7月

特富野古道將自111年6月22日起暫時封閉0k-3.75k路段，預計明年7月以嶄新風貌重新開放（圖：嘉義林管處提供）
特富野古道位於嘉義縣阿里山鄉、南投縣信義鄉交界，全長6.32公里，步道前段共有13座橋樑且地勢較為平坦(0K至3.75K)，後段則是陡下的枕木階梯，老少咸宜廣受民眾歡迎，因步道橋樑已興建20餘年，木材構造已有明顯劣化現象，林務局嘉義林區管理處為確保遊客通行安全，預計自111年6月22日起暫時封閉0K至3.75K步道，進行橋樑整修，明年7月工程完成將再重新開放以嶄新風貌重新開放服務山友。

嘉義林管處指出，特富野古道是國家級自然步道，原為日治時代日本人為了採伐阿里山地區檜木，築成阿里山鐵路支線的「水山線」，用於運送珍貴的紅檜、台灣扁柏原木。民國90年林管處將古道整建成休閒登山健行步道，沿途保有部分舊鐵道枕木鐵軌與鐵道棧橋，景致優美並具歷史遺跡，因此大受歡迎。
此次設施改善工程，主要針對橋樑安全性進行整修，也將沿途休憩亭、路堤步道、擋土牆等設施納入改善範圍，並新設跳石步道及替代路線等，盼藉此改善工程建構更安全的山林步行環境。有關自然步道等相關景點、交通等旅遊資訊均可上「台灣山林悠遊網」網站查詢。
