鳳山運動園區地下停車場完工啟用，提供614格停車位。
歷時1年9個月施工的鳳山運動園區地下停車場已完工、即日起開放民眾使用，可提供小型車停車格位614格，有助於提高鳳山地區停車供給及商圈發展。
高雄副市長林欽榮表示，鳳山運動園區鄰近中山路附近商圈、鳳凌廣場，以及衛武營都會公園等重要觀光景點，現況商業蓬勃發展，然由於為早期即發展的社區，路幅有限不利路邊停車，且缺乏可用以設置路外公共停車場的公有閒置空地，致公共停車供給有限。
林欽榮說，市府考量該地區的長遠發展，規劃於鳳山運動園區興建地下停車場，提供小型車停車格位614格，除有利於當地市民停車使用外，也可滿足觀光遊憩所需要的停車需求及優質的停車環境。
鳳山運動園區地下停車場於即日起開放使用，除提供良好及便利停車空間包括電動車充電樁、智慧停車系統外，地面層於復原時還一併施作了全新的操場跑道、共融遊具設施、活動廣場及符合國際標準的足球場地可以使用，歡迎民眾前來使用此一嶄新的休閒活動空間。
交通局長張淑娟指出，鳳山運動園區地下停車場獲前瞻基礎建設計畫預算補助，經運動發展局及地方認同與支持，在歷經近2年施工期間，並引進智慧化停車管理服務後，已順利完工啟用。交通局將持續秉持提供優質停車環境及完善停車空間作為重要的施政目標。
運動發展局表示，配合停車場啟用，鳳山田徑場將重新開放民眾使用，運動中心也將提供兩周的羽球館買一送一、體適能團體課程百元體驗、健身房及游泳池三人同行一人免費之優惠活動，歡迎多加利用，詳情請參運動中心官方網站。
