台灣首廟天壇今(9)日熱心捐贈1萬劑快篩予台南市社會局，天壇董事長徐國潤更現場加碼捐贈1萬個N95口罩、1千包平安米、麵，以及監察人葉豐傑醫師捐贈1500件隔離衣，在地方民代見證下，台南市長黃偉哲率社會局長陳榮枝前往天壇受贈並回贈感謝狀，他特別感謝天壇以實際行動協助南市府防疫，共同守護民眾健康，照顧弱勢族群。

市長黃偉哲表示，天壇是台南的信仰中心之一，今天特別代表台南市185萬市民，誠摯感謝天壇董事長徐國潤及各位董監事對於防疫工作、社會福利慈善的用心與付出，天壇除了捐贈1萬劑快篩之外，也捐贈1萬個N95口罩、1500件隔離衣，以及捐贈1000包平安米、麵，提供實物銀行發放給有需求的民眾，見證了天壇仁民愛物、慈悲為懷的善心，這是非常好的善行義舉，因此特別感謝天壇對於台南市及台灣社會的付出。

黃偉哲進一步指出，目前台南市累計確診人數約15萬人，佔總人口數約8%，相較全國確診比率為低，但仍不能掉以輕心，台南市在疫苗接種推動上，5-11歲幼童的疫苗覆蓋率為六都第一，南市府會繼續努力防疫，並感謝社會上許多有愛心的民眾協力防疫工作，天壇就是代表性的指標之一。

台灣首廟天壇長期與南市府合作，為重要捐贈單位，自105年起除每年固定捐助社會局200萬元善款供弱勢家庭、團體急難救助使用，亦辦理台南市高中職、國小清寒獎助學金發放已長達25年之久，並於高雄氣爆、維冠大樓震災等重大災害時捐助善款，更於109年第一波COVID-19疫情爆發時捐贈300萬元協助防疫工作，以實際行動支持政府，為社會安定的重要力量。
社會局長陳榮枝表示，非常感謝許多善心團體捐贈各式防疫物資，公私協力共渡疫情難關。
黃偉哲市長呼籲社會企業及團體能夠踴躍共襄盛舉，幫助更多弱勢民眾。
