111年新南向國家五人制足球交流賽南區預賽，於26日下午五時畫下完美句點，比賽成績出爐由泰國Kasalong FC奪魁、亞軍是越南NhaVietVoDich、季軍為越南Dajia FC。前三名隊伍配合嘉義縣辦理全民運比賽期間於10月8日至9日在中正大學參加總決賽。

本次南區預賽有5隊印尼，13隊越南，14隊泰國等32支隊伍參賽，兩天的賽程非常緊湊用六面球場打了64場，新南向國家選手個個腳法純熟球季超群英勇善戰，在吳鳳科技大學人工草皮球場大顯身手競爭非常激烈。
為了擴大球賽交流，負責執行比賽安排的嘉義縣足球協會還在四強賽安排臉書和Youtube直播，越南移工也自主在現場直播，現場氣氛非常熱烈，大會並發給每一支球隊1萬元補助，前8名大會準備莊家方塊酥和有嘉木茶研所的阿里山茶葉做為獎品，各隊選手都非常開心。

承辦比賽的南新國小莊政道校長表示，這次舉辦新南向五人制足球交流賽是全國創舉，由於足球在東南亞國家非常風行，就像台灣風靡棒球一樣，所以在台灣的70萬移工中，有非常多的足球運動人口，而且水準非常高，每一隊都有全國甲組的實力，比賽場場精彩。下星期六將在苗栗竹南運動公園舉辦北區預賽，一樣取前三名晉級決賽，決賽將在10月8日和9日全民運期間在中正大學舉行，歡迎鄉親前往欣賞高水準的五人制足球賽。
