受低壓帶影響，中央氣象局於今日2日，針對臺北、臺南、屏東等地區發布大雨特報，水利局表示，爲因應低氣壓帶來的強降雨，轄區內59座抽水站及469台大型移動式抽水機已完成巡檢、油料補充及試運轉作業，其中463台抽水機已預佈於易積淹水地區，並通知各單位進行滯洪池預洩降作業，另外各區公所及水利局已備妥約24萬砂包及約3,700片L型防水擋板分發予28個區公所及8個自主防災社區保管，視天氣及實際狀況使用。

截至上午10時30分，台南市有多處最大累積雨量超過70毫米，歸仁區89毫米、佳里區85.5毫米，突然的強降雨，台南目前有8件積淹水災情，已有3處退水，淹水地區包含佳里區1處、中西區1處、七股區1處、仁德區1處及北區1處受雨影響產生積淹水情事。

水利局已超前部屬各項防汛整備措施並頻繁進行巡查，也籲請市民朋友多加利用臺南市政府官方Line群組、臺南水情即時通APP，隨時瞭解水情狀況，提早防災、避災。臺南市長黃偉哲提也提醒市，目前天氣不穩定，雨勢較為明顯，外出記得攜帶雨具同時也要注意行車安全。
