嘉義縣農職人新手村「一季園主」開跑 從農成為終身志業

嘉義縣長翁章梁8日與5位青年園主，在輝太狼開心農場種植時下最夯的嘉義優鮮品牌精品哈密瓜「嘉義極光」瓜苗，為培植青農的第六屆「一季園主」活動暖身。第四屆青農黃宛儀也到場分享她從農業一無所知到透過在一季園主的從頭學習，讓她習得一技之長的成長歷程。

第六屆「一季園主」8日上午在六腳鄉輝太狼開心農場舉行甜瓜定植活動，由翁章梁、六腳鄉長陳川崎、農業處長許彰敏及5位青年園主手植「嘉義極光」瓜苗，象徵嘉義縣的優質農產品已在消費市場打下一門天。農業處希望透過已連續開辦6年的「一季園主」系列學習課程，培訓更多的青年朋友投入精緻農業行列，傳承農業文化。
由農委會農業試驗所主辦的「設施蔬果栽培產業人才培育」計畫，結合嘉義縣精緻農業協會連續6年舉辦「一季園主」研習課程，並無償提供土地、設備及完整的栽培技術，培植有意從農的青農生力軍。

參與「一季園主」的素人必須經過三階段訓練，從農業訓練所培訓到田間實作種植甜瓜，最後回農試所統整實務與理論，協會則負責田間實作期間，提供栽培技術與行銷通路指導，縮短素人創業摸索期，讓學員畢業後能繼續在農業領域一展長才。
本屆青農陳翠娟指出，她想要種植更安全、更健康的蔬果，提供更好的產品給消費者，希望在縣府農業團隊和青農先進扶植協助下，為為嘉義縣的農業做出貢獻。

翁章梁指出，農業需要有一代一代的新人加入，才能永續發展，精緻農業與設施農業是未來的發展願景，透過綜合性培訓幫助青年農民返鄉加入農業行列，從零基礎開始學習，讓年輕人順利跨過起步門檻。
精緻農業協會理事長吳世彥表示，每屆一季園主結束後，學員間都相互保持聯繫，協會推出新課程都會邀請學員回來上課，讓開放的資源可以發揮最大效益，培育更多人才。
農業是嘉義縣的根基，嘉義縣除了引進智慧科技農業、自創嘉義優鮮品牌、擴大銷售通路等行銷策略，也致力於培養未來的農業生力軍，讓農業持續向上發展。
