影/迷途綠蠵龜現蹤東石漁港 海巡攜手漁民搶救野放大海

海巡署中部分署第四岸巡隊東石安檢所安檢人員昨（11）日下午3時，巡視港區時發現1隻海龜在港區內游來游去，海巡人員立即展開救援，同時通報海洋保育署雲嘉保育站、嘉義縣政府農業處畜產保育科及國立屏東海洋生物博物館派員協處，後續協調附近作業漁民順利完成海龜野放作業。

據了解，近日曾有漁友於港區發現該綠蠵龜蹤跡，經海巡人員巡查後並無所獲，直至昨日於港區再次發現這隻迷途綠蠵龜，海巡人員立即將該綠蠵龜實施安置，利用濕毛巾將其覆蓋，並放置軟墊上避免腹部受傷。經與屏東海生館李醫師透過電話及照片辨識，初步判定為保育類綠蠵龜，測量背甲長約33.5公分、寬約30公分，無明顯外傷且生命跡象良好，後續徵詢嘉義縣畜產科石蕙菱科長意見，由第四岸巡隊協調型厝船筏「建興機械○號」載運出海野放，並於東石外海1.3海浬完成野放作業，讓這隻迷途綠蠵龜重回大海懷抱。

第四岸巡隊提醒，海巡署平時積極維護海洋生態保育，並投入海洋事務相關工作，若民眾於岸際發現鯨豚或海龜等其他海洋生物有受傷需救護情事，請立即撥打「118」免付費服務專線通報，將立即派員協處。
