屏東警分局配合行政院辦理「屏鵝公路種樹百里2.0」專案，為緩解施工造成的交通衝擊，施工路段周邊繁重的交通狀況，全仰賴警察同仁指揮疏導，現階段適逢盛夏酷暑，為體恤執勤同仁，警察局交通隊特別購置大陽傘及分局提供保冰袋等防暑用品，並提供清涼冷飲，以降低員警在高溫環境中執勤造成的熱傷害。

屏東警分局長黃國源表示：感謝員警執勤辛勞，協助交通流量疏導與管制，確認路口淨空及掌握車流，更將即時路況上線警察廣播電台，讓用路人順暢通行、平安回家，另呼籲民眾行經施工路段請務必遵循員警現場指揮引導。
