組成全台最大玉米代耕團隊 嘉縣義竹謝勝麒獲農村領航獎

為促進農村永續發展及活化再生，表揚對農村社區發展貢獻卓越的個人，行政院農業委員會舉辦「111年農村領航獎」，網羅農村生活、生產、生態的英雄們，選出對「農村社區發展貢獻卓越」的領航者，於8月19、20日決審辦理完竣後，公布30位獲獎者，嘉義縣義竹鄉中平社區謝勝麒先生榮獲111年農村領航獎殊榮。
謝勝麒從小看著父親務農長大，原本沒有繼承家業的打算，但因父親健康因素，毅然辭掉工作返鄉務農，扛下家中事業重任。起初對於玉米品種、栽種方式完全不了解的他，憑著毅力與不服輸的精神從頭學起，參與農委會「小地主大佃農」計畫，也到農會上課，期間認識許多具有相同理念的青農，融入自己經營理念，集結約30人組成全台耕種面積最大的代耕團隊，企圖用新觀念與方法，解決老農無力耕作問題，並讓農田滾出財富。

在他當選中平社區理事長後，成立「保證責任嘉義縣御良田玉米生產合作社」，與在地農民合作耕種300公頃以上玉米田，並將合作社5%公益基金回饋至社區。109-111年申請水保局青年回留計畫，鼓勵青年參與社區活動、吸引許多青年回鄉從事生產工作，共同打造玉米品牌，目前也積極推廣食農教育及體驗活動，透過與在地國中、小、幼兒園合作進行玉米食農教育發展，讓孩童能親近產地學習家鄉產業及飲食文化。
謝理事長對社區未來發展侃侃而談，他說螺絲可以把材料組成各種桌椅與機器，造就其功能與效用；而理事長角色也是社區的一顆小螺絲，組織著社區資源、帶動每一位居民參與，才能逐步拼湊、營造美好的家園生活！社區要繼續向前轉動，仍需要各世代合作與延續，共勉之。
