嘉義縣梅山鄉太平社區產業合作社11日清晨於太平雲梯遊客服務中心舉行「2022第一屆太平雲梯雲端路跑」，由縣長翁章梁、梅山太平合作社理事主席嚴清雅、台灣雕塑藝術家施力仁等貴賓鳴槍起跑，一同為參賽民眾為加油打氣。

翁章梁說，太平雲梯營運五周年慶特別舉辦路跑活動，謝謝這五年來所有人對太平雲梯的支持，這裡是個美麗的地方，不論作為運動賽事、藝術展演或演唱會的場地，都能讓大家享受其中，盡收嘉南平原的美景。
翁章梁期許，未來將有更多的展演活動進駐，讓大家有機會走進太平雲梯，感受嘉義之美，同時他也祝今日參賽選手們都能發揮實力獲得佳績，並特別感謝辛苦的工作人員們，預祝比賽圓滿順利成功！
本賽事路線規劃起點從太平雲梯遊客中心跑向太平雲梯上，經縣道151到二尖山觀景台折返，終點於太平國小，參加選手可在太平雲梯橋上俯瞰雲海美景同時飽覽著名的梅山36彎景致及沿線茶園風景風光，適合親子及慢跑新手一起參加，活動邀請全國榮民(眷)及辛苦防疫醫護人員一起參與這場年度盛事，提倡運動休閒運動。
另外，為推動「梅山太平社區文化體驗」，也設有竹林茶席、咖啡烘豆體驗遊程及梅山太平本色植物染布製作體驗，希望能夠藉由文化觀光與運動賽事互相做連結，參與賽事的同時，民眾也能體驗嘉義縣大阿里山風景區的人文特色及在地美食。
其中沿途補給品由嘉義知名伴手禮老楊方塊酥及統百食品提供，參賽選手都可以品嘗到美食外，也將連結太平社區發展協會及大林慢城發展協會之商家提供優惠折扣活動，將這座美麗又有歷史的山城回憶，再次感動呈現並達到推廣休閒、運動觀光的全民旅跑新氣象，梅山太平合作社期許透過路跑活動與在地觀光結合，帶動梅山鄉太平雲梯國際觀光風潮。
