前一陣子適逢各級學校陸續開學，為提供學子更安全的求學環境，內埔警分局宣導團日前至美和科大，向全體師生宣導反毒、反詐及交通安全，為了學子的校園安全持續努力。
偵查隊隊長張程湧向新生展現近年來新型態毒品的種類及包裝，期望借由圖片與影像，幫助年輕學子提升辨識能力，避免落入毒品糖衣之陷阱。
民眾求職受騙赴柬埔寨工作遭囚案頻傳，也對全體師生實施反詐騙宣導，以近期柬埔寨「假求職真詐騙」為案例，提醒海外工作應多加注意，勿聽信詐騙集團所言，出國工作卻淪為詐欺集團成員，期望透過反詐騙宣導最新資訊，提高民眾警覺避免受騙。

在交通安全方面，宣導團則點出學生首駕族事故易發生的時段，提醒學生遇到車流量較大的情況，務必專注駕車、切勿搶快。此外也播放車禍案例影片，點出危險的駕駛方式，傳授正確的防禦性駕駛觀念，最後在宣導過程中透過有獎徵答方式，加深學生們印象。
內埔分局長莊順智表示，內埔警宣導團將繼續努力，不僅持續到學校，也會到各活動中心、關懷據點給予學生、民眾最新的反毒、反詐騙資訊，並且持續教導防禦性駕駛的觀念，提高民眾自我防衛的能力。
