預防犯罪宣導從小做起！屏東警分局特別在新學期之初，來到位於長治鄉的長興國小，為學生們做全面性的預防犯罪宣導，將婦幼保護觀念及相關法令融入校園，提升學童和教師們的自我防衛能力，針對家庭暴力、性侵害及性騷擾防治、兒童保護、兒童及少年性剝削防制等議題，透過時事新聞案例與播放微電影等方式，期許學童能提高警覺，當面臨到危險的情境時亦能以正確的措施來因應。
此外，「反毒」為當前重點工作之一，新興毒品推陳出新、花樣多變，防不勝防，例如以小惡魔、卡通、新奇圖案之咖啡包、巧克力、糖果、餅乾、果凍、軟糖及郵票等為偽裝，藉以誘發青少年族群的好奇心，進而誤觸各式毒品無法自拔，造成終身遺憾，傷身又傷心。
分局長黃國源表示，屏東警分局主動走入校園與師生們互動，除拉近與民眾的距離，也予以學生們更多保護自我的能量，遠離犯罪，共同維護社會幸福及安全。
