在今(23)日謝龍介在議會質詢黃偉哲市長時，用「狗x」等不雅字眼，民進黨團隨即召開記者會，要求謝龍介道歉，並表示任何政黨的候選人都不該用歧視性詞語攻擊對手。

台南市長黃偉哲在受訪時也表示，感到非常遺憾，也覺得選舉有點失焦，民進黨團發言人呂維胤議員也補充，謝龍介已經不是第一次用歧視性言論，攻擊對手，如今又在議會殿堂罵「狗x」，非常不得體。也強調希望給台南一個乾淨的選戰。
