南市議員李啟維推廣匹克球運動不遺餘力 受各界肯定

匹克球運動1965年源自美國，最近幾年慢慢在台灣國內風行，台南市議員李啟維和台南匹克球協會高文彬理事長、國平里蔡明宏里長爭取之下，增設了大概7塊匹克球運動球場，吸引了無數市民前往打球，受到各界肯定。
台南市匹克球協會高文彬理事長表示，在偶然的機會接觸到匹克球運動，就深深被它所吸引，打匹克球已成為他生活重要的一部分，也讓他退休的生活更加充實，身體更加健康，他說匹克球運動經濟實惠老少咸宜，歡迎大家有空到府平路和華平路球場打匹克球運動體驗。
李啟維議員表示營造全民運動環境是政府的責任，匹克球運動很適合在國內發展，它是結合羽毛球、網球、桌球的一種運動，場地規格和羽毛球一樣，政府可以在不影響現有室內室外場地，增加匹克球運動場地，例如在他遊說爭取之下，在府平公園硬體空間增設了2塊匹克球運動場地，大家享受在樹蔭下打球都讚不絕口。
李議員說社區是市民生活的重心，近來大家生活漸趨富足，對休閒娛樂活動相對增加，他很感謝蔡里長支持，讓整個五期重劃區，特別是府平公園一帶的運動資源持續增加，除了強身建國也帶動全民運動和地方發展。
