台鐵DT668國王號今啟動台南遊
「蒸汽火車之王」DT668國王號今（12）日南巡府城，從保安站一路北上到後壁站，一早開幕儀式於保安車站舉行，台南市長黃偉哲化身國王號一日列車長啟動鳴笛，帶領鐵道迷們與民眾一同欣賞蒸汽火車奔馳在嘉南平原的浩瀚風光。

黃偉哲表示，睽違兩年國王號再次來到台南，民眾不只能親自體驗國王列車奔馳的震撼，車上還有表演者與民眾互動演出，另外在各個停靠車站也規劃許多打卡送好禮跟特色市集等活動，今天不管在哪個站點，都能一睹國王號的風采，民眾來台南坐火車迺市仔可以體驗到與眾不同的的火車之旅。

DT668是台鐵現存最大型的蒸汽機車，擁有三項歷史紀錄，包括牽引力最大，噸位最重，以及最晚退休除役，此次國王號南巡，一路從保安站出發，沿途停靠永康、新市、善化、隆田、林鳳營、新營、後壁等車站，吸引眾多鐵道迷駐足觀賞，停靠站舉辦各種市集，包括新市站的青農小集、善化站的善心善農市集、新營站的新營特色市集、後壁站的噗噗火車音樂市集等，此外，今日搭乘火車的民眾，可至隆田站憑火車票券免費進入隆田Cha Cha文化資產教育園區，參加國王市集等豐富多元的精彩活動，陪伴民眾一起度過假日時光。

今日開幕現場邀請Ethan Wang樂團、牧歌音樂工作室等表演團隊為活動開場。永康區公所加碼提供270份的「永保安康」紀念車票及票夾送給乘車民眾，也邀請民眾行經永康車站時，拍下國王號英姿並上傳社群打卡按讚，站外並設有永康公所吉祥物「站長蛙」立牌及紀念章，供民眾拍照蓋印，別具紀念價值。

此外，今年初甫開園的隆田Cha Cha文化資產教育園區，擁有全台唯一「四鐵共構」的珍貴產業歷史遺跡，其中四鐵包含台鐵、糖鐵、鹽鐵及嘉南大圳工事鐵路。園區緊鄰隆田車站，可以看到火車進站的英姿，早期糖鹽皆透過五分車，自七股、麻豆到隆田，再透過台鐵運輸至高雄港出口外銷，是台灣糖鹽業貿易的重要運輸節點。而園區內保存台鹽儲運站辦公室、站長宿舍、台鐵倉庫等歷史建築，甚至保留五分車車軌等，有興趣的民眾也可到隆田走訪參觀，一起走進珍貴的歷史現場。
