台南市長黃偉哲在記者會致詞時表示，台南很熱戀也喜歡林百貨，林百貨不僅深植在台南人心中，甚至很多台灣民眾都知道林百貨，可見是台灣及台南之光芒，今年活動更加多元特殊的元素，謝謝陳董事長，還有林百貨的同仁，歡迎大家相約來府城摩登大遊行。

文化局指出，今年的府城摩登大遊行，以「熱戀林百貨.熱戀台南」為主軸，將1930年代的日常時光、府城仕紳們的休閒娛樂等發展史，重現當年昭和銀座通場景，帶領大眾體驗摩登年代的府城生活，透過創作屬於「台南style」及回歸藝術生活化的感動。

林百貨業者表示，今年參加遊行的隊伍共有23個團體、近500人參與，各自發揮創意，精心裝扮與表演，來慶祝林百貨91歲生日，將遊行活動結合快閃行動劇的方式呈現府城生活，為歷史文化、傳統藝術等刻畫精采片段。
