臺南科學園區特定區內10-30M計畫道路今起通車
臺南科學園區特定區內10-30M計畫道路已開闢完成，於今(15)日上午舉行通車典禮，市長黃偉哲表示，這條道路今天開始通車後，將進一步的縮減南科車潮的壅塞，有效減低通勤族的交通時間達15分鐘，明年5-40M道路完工後，交通時間會更縮短。

市長黃偉哲表示，10-30M道路歷經一年多耗資2億元經費開闢，克服因文化遺址問題而停工的困難，終於完工開放通車，希望5-40M道路明年底前也能順利完成道路開闢通車，屆時這2條道路串聯南科園區北半部區域交通需求，進入南科讓特定區內的交通更便利順暢，對於南科通勤族將可有效降低交通時間達15分鐘，不但可以完善防救災道路連結周邊路網系統更便利順暢，並串連周邊都市計畫區路網系統，促進整個區域的產業經濟發展。

工務局表示，因應南科迅速發展，帶來大批就業人潮的交通問題，南市府於台南科學園區特定區北側，開闢10-30M及5-40m兩條聯外道路。10-30M計畫道路北起市道178線興農路，南與南科RD16-49新闢道路銜接，路寬30公尺長度約230公尺，道路工程總經費約2億元(含用地費)，工程已完工，於10月25日配合南科RD16-49新闢道路完成通車，一併先行開放方便用路人通行。另5-40m計畫道路，起點(安定東路與直加弄大道口)向東延伸，路寬40公尺、全長約1,024公尺，工程總經費約7.73億元。
未來，這2條位在南科特定區北側的道路，可紓解分散台南科學園區中央（南科7路）及直加弄大道交通，通往國道1號直接銜接安定交流道，分擔市道178線尖峰時間車流，同時改善周邊地區居民及通勤人口往來交通問題，建立完善地區交通路網，紓解交通尖峰帶來的車潮壅塞問題，為南科交通建設添利多。
此外，在道路改善方面，包括「善化區目加溜灣大道提升道路品質計畫工程」、「新市區西拉雅大道路面改善及人行道修復工程」、「善化區區道整體優化計畫改善工程」、「善化區建國路(進學路至中山路口)道路改善工程」、「國道8號兩側側車道改善」、「安定區國道1號安定交流道聯絡道道路改善工程等等，投入總經費約362億元，在在顯示南市府積極促進南科附近區域建設的努力，未來仍會繼續努力推動其他建設，讓台南市經濟和交通建設發展與時俱進。
